The US central bank. The Board publishes yields and the dollar index; the regional banks publish surveys and activity indexes.

The Federal Reserve System comprises the Board of Governors in Washington and twelve regional Reserve Banks. The Federal Open Market Committee sets the target range for the federal funds rate eight times a year.
