About the data

Every number on this site comes from an official publisher and is fetched directly from that publisher's own API or download, twice a day, at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC. The last build ran at 18 Sep 2026, 09:56 UTC.

Who publishes what

The full list with series codes and licences is on the Sources page.

Revisions

Publishers revise. When a fetched value differs from the one stored, the earlier value is kept and shown on the indicator page under Revision history. The front page never shows a number without its as-of date.

Derived series

Some indicators are computed from more than one input: a ten-year yield minus a short rate, the average of two regional surveys, the percentage change of a price index over twelve months. The indicator page says which inputs and how. The raw inputs are downloadable as CSV and JSON from each indicator page.

Proxies

Where the ideal series is not freely available a labelled proxy is used: the four large European economies stand in for the euro area in the OECD leading indicator, Bank Rate for the three-month gilt, the two-year for the three-month JGB. Each proxy is marked on its page and in the region table.

Reuse

The scores, states and sentences produced here are worldstat.us constructions and may be reused under CC BY 4.0 with a link. The underlying values remain their publishers' and carry their publishers' terms. A machine-readable snapshot of the whole site is at /feed.json.
